The Virtual Training Company started in California's
Silicon Valley in 1996. The company was founded by British born
Mark Vernon who started producing CD-based
training for
Apple software.
The format on the CDs - a lot of short, concise movies that go step-by-step
through the software application - was very well received.
VTC
soon after began
producing training from Windows PC software as well.
VTC grew quickly over the next three years and relocated in 1999 to the
beautiful town of
Winchester, Virginia.
VTC
occupies offices in a great spot on one of oldest
open malls in the USA.
VTC Online University went
live in 1999. That year VTC opened offices in UK, Australia, France and South
Africa. By 2001, VTC Hong Kong was opened. In 2002, VTC Canada came into being
to serve the The Great White North.
The future? - Offices are scheduled to open in Germany (titles are already in
production) and Japan.
VTC is also busy translating and overdubbing English
titles into Spanish.
VTC
continues to expand by consistently producing affordable
training materials for computer software. New features will soon be added to
make our services even better, such as online testing.
VTC will continue to
produce training for newer versions of existing software, and expand our library
into networking, business, and beyond.
VTC
is currently developing K-12 educational training,
covering mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry and others. In our continuing
efforts to educate all who want to learn, regardless of position in life, this
training will be offered free of charge online.
VTC is truly a company made up of individuals who are here
because we choose to be here. We are all having the time of our lives, and we're
glad you are with us.
